What is Global Youth Service Day? A youth-organized weekend of community service events and the largest service event in the world.  2009 Global Youth Service Day, held April 24-26, featured multiple and varied youth-led service projects throughout Vermont focused on literacy, the environment, healthcare, hunger, elderly services, and more.  Vermont youth of all ages mobilizes their peers, community and business leaders, and others in civic engagement projects throughout the state.
